The Puget Sound Business Journal today covered the partnership between Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty and The Dingman Group, Inc. – the nation’s largest professional sports athlete relocation firms. The centerpiece to the story was The Lakehaven Estate, a sprawling, resort-like manse that features a professional grade fitness studio, an indoor-pool, plenty of entertaining space and even the potential for a full-sized, indoor basketball court on the adjacent property owned by the seller.

Broker Chris Doucet says the location of Lakehaven Estate is ideal because the property is just 15 minutes from the front door to the new arena in downtown Seattle’s SODO neighborhood according to MapQuest.com. The property is also immediately adjacent to Boeing Field for private flights and/or SeaTac International Airport for commercial flights.
Not all properties feature the potential of indoor basketball court but Doucet was quick to point out her other listing at 1908 34th Avenue South in Seattle’s Mount Baker neighborhood can incorporate an outdoor sports court, large pool and expanded garage for a basketball player’s collection of cars. She’s hired DiMarco Architects to render her vision confident that it will help attract professional athletes to Seattle. And even better, Doucet says sports stars can drive just seven miles, without a freeway, to get to the new arena district in less than ten minutes, according to MapQuest.com.
